How to Play A typical game of Qwirkle lasts about 45 minutes--longer if you are first learning the easiest way to play--and players will probably catch on on the rules in almost no time at all. The only real other thing you'll need is really a pencil and paper to keep a record of everyone's point count. Each tile has an illustration for the back (circle, eight-point star, four-point star, square, clover, or diamond).
